Very Rarely, Do I mention my competition. I respect and appreciate everybody's unique style and opinion, but most of the time I just don't give a shit! I do take notice around these times, especially with regards to SIHH just hours away, and Basel in April. To be fair, www.timezone.com and www.horomundi.com have been the front runners with reporting news within the industry up to the minute. They have both become the iconic choice for watch enthusiasts throughout the world. There seems to be a bit of laziness on both their parts because of technical difficulties and lack of interest. www.timezone.com doesn't even have a section for SIHH 2009, their still stuck in the past with 2008. Horomundi god bless them, have a new format, which couldn't have come at a worse time because it has impaired their ability to report the novelties presented already.
The undisputed winner and champion with regards to spreading the latest news on SIHH 2009 is non other than new kid on the block and friend www.perpetuelle.com. Perpetuelle.com and I started around the same time with our respected sites last year. I am very critical of watch sites because I feel most of them are very biased and write the same recycled bullshit over and over because they are afraid to report the truth because their advertisers are the watch brands themselves, so as a result they become the watch companies BITCH!

Their goal is very clear like mine and the best part is we don't compete with each other because we are able to to give the end consumer the power and knowledge to make decisions when buying a fine timepiece in our very owns different ways. Pepetuelle.com is not owned by a conglomerate or backed or funded by any watch company, just one man Kyle Stults, who's vision, passion and creativity have harnessed the site to come with a couple of firsts, including their own TV, Virtual watch boxes for that die hard collector who has always creamed dreamed of their favorite timepieces can now do so virtually with their own watch box. The openness and candor in which they allow their members to comment and discuss without alienation, separates them from the rest.
